Other big news I went to a 3 hour workshop with Jenyne Butterfly: She is the US Pole Dance Champion and Silver Medalist in the world Finals 2009. She was so lovely she is a kind patient woman who taught me some pole techniques that have moved me on considerably. But what she did more than that is give me inspiration to carry forward my business. I have now the pic she signed put up in my studio and when I dance I have a look and it enthuses me with a feeling of fun and determination. Thank you Jenyne.

You will have experience in pole dancing and instructing any other fitness qualifications such as Aerobics instructor will be valued.
Must be flexible about working hours and willing to work evenings and some weekends.
First Aid qualification is desirable.

New Tuesday morning Exchange of Services Tuesday morning at 10am we run a Six week beginner course which you can access with our Exchange of Services system; to come to this class you don’t need to pay with money all you need to do is make a mutually agreeable exchange of services. For example: If you are a Qualified Reiki Practitioner and you charge £30 per hour if you were to exchange services with me for a group class you would get two sessions for one hour Reiki treatment. If you do Photography, accountancy, joinery (even if your partner dose and he is willing to exchange his labor for you to study pole class) we would make a swap which is suitable to both parties. (this does change if a customer needs to move to another class for personal or work related reasons) • We can be flexible if you are a shift worker. • We now hold regular taster sessions. • We now have a pay as you go night. • We choose music that has been asked for by our customers to allow the development of more self expression. Thankyou i now have the help i need./I am need of the help of two ladies to be ‘bodies’ in an aerobics exam I am doing. It would involve travelling to London. I would cover your travelling expenses and give you 3 free Pay As You Go Lessons for helping me. Are you interested, the date would be in November. PM me if you are interested. x
I have had mu chance to give my entrepreneur presentation in front of the panel and now I have till October 22nd to find out!
On the First of November there will be a holistic event at the studio to raise money to build a school in Tanzania so please mark this in your diary. There will be many exciting healing things going on so keep your eyes on this page and I will keep you posted. x

End of course Party Saturday 12th September 5-7pm
Can you spare some of your time to help Soul-POLE and Malaika Africa to raise some money to build a school in Tanzania. I am organizing a healing day at the studio we are looking for volunteers with skills such as massage, Reiki, beauty therapies (make up, hair, nails ect), event decorating, Tarot Card reading, Henna painting and catering. If you have any gifts to offer the raffle this would be also welcome all proceeds raised will go to the building of the school. The date of the event will be 1st November and will be an all day event, please could you let me know if you would be able to offer some of your therapies to customers and if so for how long. We will then build a program and advertise it as soon as we know who will be coming.

We have been seeing more men take an interest in pole dancing exercise classes at Soul-POLE so as we did not want to exclude anyone from benefiting from our classes, we have arranged a mixed Pay As You Go class on a Thursday night at 8.20pm.
This decision has come with careful consideration as one of our main business aims is to help woman become stronger, healthier and more confident within themselves. We have decided to offer this class separate so that our valued woman customers will never turn up to a pay as you go or any other class and be surprised to find men studying. We have a sacred space here for woman in our classes where the learning is developed in a comfortable environment for woman to feel safe to express themselves. "This will not change"
We have also seen how good pole dancing is for your muscular strength and do not discriminate on any level. So this way we hope that the men who are interested in learning this art of pole dancing in Aberdeen can do so comfortably as well. Please feel free to comment on our Forum as your opinion will always be listened to.

Recently Soul-POLE has evaluated our end of course questionnaire and am happy to say 20/20 people have fun in the class, 20/20 said fitness level improved, 20/20 achieved what they wanted from the class. This is a great result and we constantly improve our service by listening to our customers and responding appropriately.
So come along and join the fun!

New Instructor
Dr. Laura J Wilkie
The newest member of Soul-POLE's team, Laura has been dancing and performing in stage-productions since the age of three. Her background is mainly in classical dance, having achieved grade 8/advanced RAD standard of ballet, but also has extensive experience of palates, jazz, tap, modern, and street-dancing. She began pole-dancing several years ago and has been perfecting her technique and advancing her skills since then. She truly believes that it is one of the most rewarding forms of exercise that women can experience: confidence, fitness, muscle tone, flexibility, and most of all fun!
Great new classes will be starting soon and I am starting to get my energy back and am looking forward to them. I have put some new pics on Party Zone have a look!

Apologise for the change in class dates due to my illness I have had to extend the current course.
Missed classes: Due to my doctor advising me to rest till properly better I have moved the new courses one week later; this will allow the present course to gain all there classes. I am sorry for the interruption in your class and will make the rest of your course great! Well I am sorry for the missed week of courses I was struck with Acute Tonsillitis and was admitted into Hospital for the night. You know I wouldn’t miss class for any other reason.
We will be adding one week on the end of the course so that you don’t miss a thing. I am now on the road to recovery and will be back at studio on Monday look forward to seeing you all again so we can get started. Thank you for all your well wishes. x
